Charlie for Sale
The Charlie pattern is now available for sale on my blog. It is available in sizes 32, 38, 44, and 50 (these sizes were dictated by the diamond pattern repeats). It is beautiful as either a layering piece for the colder months, or a tank in the summer.

Hello All..and a quickie introduction
I live in Durham, NC with my hubby, teenage daughter and chocolate Lab. I have been knitting for about 4-5 years but still consider myself a beginner. I knit to relax, not stress myself out--so if there is too much Math involved, it ain't happenin' here. I like to knit projects for the home and a few simple things for the family. I am trying to collect enough of one of my favorite yarns, GGH Esprit (in various colors), to make a huge blanket before my daughter goes off college in 2 years. We shall see.
Here is a pic of my DD wearing the scarf that I just finished as a present for my sister. The yarn is Misti Alpaca which feels like buttah! I added flat beads as a fringe.

It's a Beanie........Baby!
My cousin requested a hat that didn't cover her ears, but fit snugly but not squeeze to match her winter coat. She was delighted with the outcome. Hopefully my other projects will come out this easily. You can check them out here.

I knit a sweater!!!
It's my first sweater ever! I'm so excited! the finished pic isn't that great, so I'm putting the closeup from before I added the sleeves so you can see the pattern. It's supposed to be the my cherie amour sweater from knitty, but I did this funky thing with my yo's so that the holes weren't as big. It's double stranded and super warm too. :D I'm still kinda in shock that I actually knitted a sweater!!!

"grotto" dishcloth
my SIL loves pink so as part of her christmas gift, i'm knitting and crocheting her a set of dishcloths, all in shades of pink. i am really happy with how this one turned out :-) it's "hot pink" (sugar n cream cotton) and it's the pinkest of the pink! the pattern is in 200 stitch patterns for baby blankets by jan eaton.

Sewing has taken over my knitblog
Here is the first of many dolls to come.
Missy has named her Tina. I have grand plans to knit her a sweater. Well that is after I finish mine.
Up next, in my effort to have something interesting to show each day, pj shorts for the hubby. He really (I mean rilly, rilly) likes son #1's pj pants. He likes this too.
But after the hard time I had making a toddler sized version, a man sized one will have to wait. =)

Tiny Juliet
I feel kind of bad because I haven't posted in a while. I just got accepted to Ravelry in October, so I had to beef up my spot. I'm sure you understand. I'm Yarnfettish. I'm going to do better and be more faithful to the Ebony Elite blog. However, I'll still have to direct you to my blog for details. I'm making my baby girl and I a matching set of Juliets. I did hers first.

New to the blog
Hey ladies,
I'm Nettie from Brooklyn. I blog at Knitology where you can read all about the latest things making me crazy, which despite my blog title is only partly my knitting.
I've found a lot of you through Ravelry and comments from the blogs I already read. I finally got with the program and joined you here officially =)
I'm working on The Tilted Duster for NaKniSweMo.
I'm thinking that skirt portion is going to slow down progress a lot.

Husband Never Ending Scarf
Hi everyone,
I have a Finished Object (about time)
That's me tryin to be fly - guess who will get the most wear out of this scarf!!!
Husband Never Ending Scarf - 4 balls of Noro Kureyon #164 , needle 4.5
So, I cast on 96 stitches, slipped the first stitch of every row and knit this baby up EVERY row which meant boring, but easy as hell and the Noro did all the work. The slipped stitch gave it a nice finished touched
I had to stretch it out to get to 9 inches wide and 52 inches long. I wish I had another ball but hey, I got it for free.
Results - the husband loves it (and he is picky) - it looks like a mans scarf.
