50 Plus

I had been working on a small charity drive for a Chinese orphanage. My best buddy at work has adopted 2 little girls from China and later become President of the board for the Organization that arranges the adoptions. When he learned of my interest in charity knitting I offered to make a couple of things. This is my second year and I was able to meet my goal of gathering at least fifty items to send along to China.
Here are some pictures, my Baby surprise Jackets :

A bunch of Donated hats:

and me ..

The whole story here.

Any further thoughts on the Katrina Knitting ? I would love to make some items for that. Judy

what is the name of the organisation that you are knitting for, I am really passionate about Chinese babies that are abandoned and am very interested in what people are doing there. As for the outfits - they are beautiful and have obviously done with much love and creativity
