Finished My 1st Shawl

I finished my first shawl. It was the perfect first shawl project. The Forest Canopy Shawl by Susan Lawrence in Blue Moon Fiber Arts Socks That Rock Puck's Mischief colorway, lightweight 450 yards. I finished it up on my KP Harmony needles which made the last dozen repeats fly. I will definitely make this pattern again. It is not as difficult to block a lace shawl as I thought it was going to be. I will be sporting this baby at the CGOA/TKGA Knit and Crochet Show Banquet/Fashion Show Saturday night.

I am making this shawl too. It is a lot of fun and a pretty easy knit. I was going along pretty good, but my needle broke ! Shoot !

You are a good one. I can't take any of my good stuff near mt moms either. Maybe she will let you borrow it.
You can always make make another, but you only have one mom.

jscothammerquist - yep and the girl lives with me. She is letting me wear it to the banquet Sat, and I am going to make another one in Wollmeise. I have two more of Susan Lawrence's shawl patterns, I am trying to figure out which one is the next step - I'll probably e-mail her and ask. I can' wait to see yours.
