Davi
I am very excited about the Crochet by Numbers portrait I just completed. I got the free pattern from Todd A Paschall back in July but did not get to start the piece until after the UFOlympics. I am very pleased I was able to complete it before Christmas dinner, which is the next time I will be seeing Davi. This photo was one of the proofs she sent me when she graduated from Southern Univ. in May.

Absolutely gorgeous
BEAUTIFUL!!!
Thanks so much.
That is so amazing! I wonder if there is knit by numbers...I'd love to do one of my Mother.
OMG! you're so talented!!! congratulations!!
That is really good. Wow
I'm with Sheila on this, absolutely gorgeous. I hope one day to try this myself. I can single crochet with the best of them.
Love this!!!!!!!!
that is sooooooooo cool!!
This is crazy dope! Am I dating myself? Whatever. I love it and printed out the crochet by numbers instructions last week. How long did this take?
NikkiJ,
I don't know how long it took because I always work on several projects at one time. It is 125 rows by 105 columns, I started in Sept. finished mid Nov. Crochet is still faster than knitting for me, and I made two pairs of socks and a shawl while working on it. You can try the free sample pattern and time yourself.
Fabulous! You did a phenomenal job. Now I really want to make one.
Simply Stunning !
Too cool! Great work!
