Hello All..and a quickie introduction

I live in Durham, NC with my hubby, teenage daughter and chocolate Lab. I have been knitting for about 4-5 years but still consider myself a beginner. I knit to relax, not stress myself out--so if there is too much Math involved, it ain't happenin' here. I like to knit projects for the home and a few simple things for the family. I am trying to collect enough of one of my favorite yarns, GGH Esprit (in various colors), to make a huge blanket before my daughter goes off college in 2 years. We shall see.

Here is a pic of my DD wearing the scarf that I just finished as a present for my sister. The yarn is Misti Alpaca which feels like buttah! I added flat beads as a fringe.

I belly dance so the coins on the end of the scarf remind me of hip scarf I would wear! Mmmhhh.....

Hope to hear more from you!

Thanks for sharing! I think the flat beads give it such a finished look.

I'm not normally a fringe kinda girl, but I love what you did with the beads! It never would've occurred to me to do that. Great idea and beautiful scarf!
