I'm fretting over what project to do, I have 10 balls of Ice cashmere/aplaca, which yields only 650 yards and 4 hanks of silky wool (800 yards).. so I've been scanning knit sites for a vest.

I will make Simply Marilyn, a free pattern from Interweave.

28thirty by Zephyr Style is my selection for the KAL....unless I find some gorgeous pattern that catches my eye.

Happy Knitting!!

I have decided to make a Chenille Cowl for the KCAL. It's a beginner pattern from "So Simple Crochet" by Melody Griffiths. I plan on purchasing my yarn for this soon!

I think I want to make the Drops Jacket with the Moda Dea Tweedle Dea yarn. I don't know if I will make the deadline because my baby is due March 16th, but I will try.

I am making a tote bag for a swap I am in. I have again modified the Knitty.com maze hat pattern, to create my own pattern.

I made up a sock pattern from this hat pattern for a swap last year. I love the slip stitch motif.

I'm making the "Knit it down" sweater from Creative Knitting Magazine. I already started cause I don't knit very fast, but if I finish it earlier than the deadline (by some miracle) I'll add something else and make that too.

I'm in. I have a muted lime green wool, black wool, and a cream and brown bumby wool that are all crying out for attention. The project will probably be the "wrap on stripes" from interweave knits "wraps book"

I'm going with the Open-Necked Sweater in Knit Simple (Spring/Summer 2006 Issue)

Hey, I would like to join! This will be my first KAL or KCAL! I just saw Nik's blog a few minutes ago so I'm a day late. I know I want to knit my first top, so I will find a pattern and post it here in a day or so.

Hi! Nik sent out an "open invitation" on her blog, so I hope it's okay that I join. I'll use this KAL as my permission to go ahead and knit "All Aboard" from the Winter Knitter's magazine. It will be interesting to see everyone's knits! Such a diverse group.

Okay, I have figured out what I'm going to do! My daughter has been wanting me to make her something to play with, so I chose the Amy doll listed on the ravelry pattern listing. I will make more to look like her, but I can see the potential in the doll and the outfit. I was going to do a shirt or shrug but can't find what I am really looking for. So I can do this in the meantime for my daughter. Wish me luck!

I made a bag for my daughter, Nayomi. She calls it her "Dora Bag". You can check it out here: http://queendbw.blogspot.com/2008/02/she-loves-it.html
